Cortex scorecards measure service maturity across multiple dimensions including ownership, documentation, on-call setup, CI/CD status, monitoring coverage, and security posture. Rules are configurable and can be weighted by importance. Scorecards provide a single view of standards adherence across all services.

Cortex aggregates data from monitoring tools, incident management, and CI/CD to provide real-time service health scores. Teams can see which services are healthy, at risk, or failing across multiple signals including deployment frequency, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery.

Cortex automatically tracks service ownership by analyzing code repositories, on-call schedules, and team membership. It identifies orphaned services and notifies teams about ownership gaps. This is critical for incident response and operational accountability.

Cortex provides a software catalog that discovers services from Kubernetes, cloud providers, CI/CD, and code repositories. The catalog supports custom metadata, dependencies, and relationships between services.
